Chain plying makes a fluffy, round yarn. a crisp and hard-wearing yarn good for hats. Single-sheep cheviot wool-- locally raised, hand carded and spun before chain plying on my Ashford spinning wheel. Finished yarn is then dip dyed in a mason jar of hand mixed Jacquard dye.

Natural black Icelandic roving core spun around a bouncy acrylic lavender 3 ply yarn, then alternately spiral plied and coiled with a single of hand dyed green/pink/yellow cheviot wool, wrapped with dyed whole locks of goat angora fiber.
Plant Dyed Gulf Coast Native Roving - 1oz
Rare breed Gulf Coast Native sheep wool, hand washed and dyed using pokeberry, turmeric, and goldenrod. A bouncy, soft down wool that results in crisp yarn with excellent spring and shine.
Little roving bundles are dizzed off my drum carder after two passes. 1 oz total fiber weight.
